Brent falls 11.28% to $87.80 amid possible de-escalation in the Middle East
Brent crude oil plummeted this Tuesday by 11.28%, to $87.80 a barrel, at the end of a volatile trading session in the London futures market, after US President Donald Trump said the war in Iran was practically "over." North Sea crude, the European benchmark, fell $11.16 on the London Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) compared to the previous session's closing price, when Brent finished at $98.96.
