Provea demands maximum resources be allocated to improve public services in Venezuela: 'It is an enormous social debt'
The NGO Venezuelan Program of Education Action in Human Rights (Provea) demanded this Thursday that the State allocate the maximum resources to improve public services, after protests were registered in several states of the South American country due to cuts in electricity and drinking water supply. Through a publication on X, the organization indicated that in recent days protests have been reported in the states of Aragua, Carabobo (north), Anzoátegui, Monagas, Sucre (northeast) and Barinas (west) due to 'constant and prolonged interruptions of water and electricity services and the generalized collapse of public services'.
