Dehydrated Cartagena
In an environment as convulsed as that of Cartagena society today, with serious public order events and grandiloquent deliveries of sports venues and roads that promise to be a solution to the city's road problems, along with the staging of papayeras and promises regarding the internal and motivational aspect of our vulnerable sectors; a structural problem must be faced, and one that the somewhat new and renewed district administration does not seem to be addressing in the best way, and which may, in the future, remove the mask of blind adoration that the Cartagena citizen has for the mayor, and that is concerning the water service in the city.

TL;DR
- Cartagena faces a severe and recurring water supply crisis, with frequent service interruptions since 2024.
- Infrastructure failures, including pipe ruptures and maintenance issues, have affected between 15% and 100% of the population in various incidents.
- The constitutional right to potable water is being violated, impacting connected rights like sanitation, health, and human dignity.
- The current administration, despite promises of innovation, has not effectively resolved the structural issues plaguing the city's water service.
- The repeated failures suggest a fragile infrastructure and an inability of authorities to preemptively manage and resolve water supply problems.
