Discharge operations of the Russian tanker with 100,000 tons conclude in Cuba
The discharge operations of the 730,000 barrels of crude, equivalent to 100,000 tons, that the Russian tanker Anatoli Kolodkin brought to Cuba this week, concluded this Saturday at the supertanker base in Matanzas Bay, western Cuba. EFE “It was a satisfactory unloading process (…) and although these 100,000 tons are not the definitive solution, they do alleviate the country's energy situation. We are already preparing the arrival of the crude oil at the refineries for its treatment,” explained the deputy director of the state-owned Unión Cuba-Petróleo (Cupet), Irenaldo Pérez Cardoso.
