Riding better and safer: how 11 skate parks in Medellín were improved

Improvement works to make skateboards used by skaters slide better and ensure greater safety were carried out in eleven venues in Medellín that are used by those who enjoy this sport. According to the Mayor's Office, the intention is to consolidate these spaces as meeting points for young people and communities in different territories. The spaces where the interventions were carried out are located in the sectors of Estadio, El Limonar, La Floresta and in other sectors of the capital of Antioquia. Specifically, these are the tracks of Barichara N.º 3, Limonar N.º 1 and N.º 2, Parque de la República - San Pedro, Ciudad del Río, Unidad Deportiva Juanes de la Paz, Unidad Deportiva La Floresta, Quintas de San Javier, Unidad Deportiva Atanasio Girardot, Francisco Antonio Zea and Santa Lucía.
