Hunter-gatherers did not pay taxes. Not because they were libertarians, but because they were so poor that there was nothing to collect from them. Taxes were born when humanity began to accumulate, to produce, to progress. They are, in essence, the price of civilization. But as with all prices, there is a point at which it ceases to be reasonable and begins to be confiscatory. And Colombia crossed that line a long time ago.
