Ten women, relatives of political prisoners in Venezuela, have been on a hunger strike for more than 48 hours outside a police command in Caracas, some of whom have already suffered related health problems. The group, which began the strike at 6:00 local time (10:00 GMT) on Saturday, remains on mattresses outside the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) command, known as Zone 7, where nurses and doctors have come. There is another group of people at the site who are not participating in the strike due to pathologies but are present in support of the ten women and to continue demanding the 'full and immediate' release of political prisoners.
