Being One with Everything

Everyone will see what they do with their vacations, of course, I like to honor the reasons why they were granted to me. I have to say that I had a truly holy Holy Week in the middle of nature. I chose activities that are sacred to me and surrendered to them. I walked aimlessly, read and abandoned readings, sunbathed, painted, wrote, germinated seeds, planted trees, picked avocados and lemons. I realized that nothing happens if I do nothing. The world doesn't fall, the economy doesn't collapse, the system doesn't fail, I learned a long time ago that no one is that important.

Being One with Everything

TL;DR

  • Spending time in nature during vacation led to a profound sense of peace and realization of insignificance.
  • Simple activities like walking, reading, and connecting with nature can lead to new ideas and problem-solving.
  • The author contrasts traditional religious narratives with the idea that paradise is accessible in the present moment.
  • The story of Buck in 'The Call of the Wild' illustrates that holiness can also be found in returning to a primal, wild state.
  • Divinity is present everywhere, in all beings and elements of nature, but can only be perceived and honored by individuals.
