Firefighters Deployed in Aragua, Carabobo, and Yaracuy for a "Safe Holy Week 2026"

Within the framework of the Safe Holy Week 2026 Operation, this Saturday, March 28, the operational deployment of the Fire Departments was formalized in the states of Aragua, Carabobo, and Yaracuy. The initiative, coordinated by the Ministry of Popular Power for the Interior, Justice and Peace, seeks to guarantee the integrity of citizens during the major holiday. The operation highlights a "perfect fusion" between the community, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), and police forces. Under the supervision of regional authorities, officials known as the "men and women in blue" have taken positions at strategic highway checkpoints, bathing areas and coastal areas (especially in Puerto Cabello), national parks, and high-attendance churches. The Central Redan reported that they will maintain 24-hour surveillance, with special emphasis on monitoring major roadways such as the Regional Highway of the Center (ARC) and the Cimarrón Andresote Occidental Highway. The Technical Command and Action Unit has defined three critical pillars of attention: 1. Pre-hospital care: Immediate response to medical emergencies. 2. Fire prevention and rescue: Teams ready to act in incidents and accidents. 3. Damage assessment (EDAN): Risk management in mass events and high-vulnerability areas. Representatives of the institutional command stressed that their mission is to "save lives and serve with honor," reaffirming their commitment to territorial peace. Finally, authorities urged holidaymakers to maintain civic awareness, respect speed limits, and strictly follow the instructions of the emergency personnel deployed on the roads and recreational centers.
