Abolish War
A couple of weeks ago, a meeting of progressive leaders took place in Barcelona, hosted by Spanish President Pedro Sánchez, with attendees including the President of Colombia, Gustavo Petro; the President of Brazil, the President of Mexico, and other relevant international political figures. Beyond evaluating the political appropriation of the term progressive or whether those present have represented, represent, or will represent any kind of progress for their respective countries, what most caught my attention during the aforementioned event was the intervention of former Spanish President Zapatero and his call to declare war abolished.
