The Colombian national team found a late, but valuable, reaction in the final minutes of the friendly against France. When it seemed that the score would close with a resounding 3-0 in favor of the European team, the national team managed to awaken in attack and found reward for their insistence with a goal that, at least, allowed them to mask the 3-1 result. France had dominated a large part of the commitment and had been three goals up, as reflected by the score around the 74th minute.
