Authorities report 30 families isolated after heavy rains in Táchira state
A total of 30 families are isolated in two sectors of Táchira state (west, bordering Colombia) due to heavy rains in recent days in the region, reported the Ministry of Interior of Venezuela. According to the state channel Venezolana de Televisión (VTV) on Wednesday, the Ministry indicated that the intense rains have caused sediment runoff, which obstructs the roads to the Veredales and Mataguineo sectors, in that border state.
