La Calle de la Media Luna
As researchers, urban planners, historians have said, and as the Getsemaní community has lived and felt, Calle de la Media Luna is much more than a thoroughfare that articulates a community, that unites a neighborhood; it facilitates the connection between vital sectors in the history and present of Cartagena, and towards the future, it can be decisive in at least two options, which do not have to be extreme or opposite, but which through action or omission can become so: on one hand, strengthening community processes associated with the sustainability of its inhabitants, not as a conglomerate of people occupying a space, but as a cohesive community around its values, its identity and sense of belonging, which in large part can be achieved with the construction and implementation of the Special Safeguard Plan (PES), which was built as a requirement of the Ministry of Cultures, by including Neighborhood Life, in the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Nation.
