Nicaragua's dictatorship partners with Russian entity expert in hiding confiscated assets
The regime of Daniel Ortega and Rosario Murillo will formalize a strategic alliance with Russia that would allow it to refine its model of confiscations, patrimonial and territorial control in Nicaragua. Through agreements published in La Gaceta, the Official Gazette, full powers were granted to Laureano Ortega Murillo to link the Nicaraguan Institute of Territorial Studies (Ineter) —the entity in charge of the Cadastre— and the Attorney General's Office —in charge of the Property Registry— with the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of Russia, known as Rosreestr.
