Do Not Lose Hope. Act
Colombia is going through one of those moments when the collective soul seems to falter. A thick sense of disillusionment, anxiety, and fear has settled in a large part of society. Polls show a candidate of Marxist inspiration leading preferences, driven by a government that has made sectarianism and polarization its main tool of power. Meanwhile, the center-right appears divided and, at times, lost in confrontations that distract from the essential; added to this is the proliferation of candidates with no real chance, who end up clouding the electoral atmosphere, deteriorating the mood, and increasing unease.
