WHO Director and Spanish Ministers Travel to Tenerife for Cruise Ship Arrival
The Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, will travel tomorrow, Saturday, to the Canary Island of Tenerife (Atlantic) to coordinate operations for the arrival of the cruise ship MV Hondius, where a hantavirus outbreak has occurred. Tedros will be accompanied by the Spanish Ministers of Health, Mónica García, and the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, according to the latter's department this Friday.
