Mexico prepares economic measures against possible effects of the war in Iran
Mexico is evaluating the possible effects on the national economy from the war in Iran, and is therefore preparing response measures for a potential prolonged scenario, warning of possible global logistical disruptions and increased energy costs, reported Economy Secretary Marcelo Ebrard this Monday. At the end of the public consultations for the review of the USMCA, he indicated in statements to the media that the issue will be addressed in a cabinet meeting with President Claudia Sheinbaum.
