University professors will protest at OPSU over exclusions in bonus allocation
Professors at the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) denounced before the University Council that only 25% of the teaching staff were able to collect the professional responsibility bonus announced by the Executive on April 30. Additionally, 96% of retirees did not receive the benefit, leaving out 5336 professors, assured Gregorio Alfonso, president of the Association of Professors of the UCV (Apucv).

TL;DR
- Only 25% of UCV teaching staff received the professional responsibility bonus announced on April 30.
- 96% of UCV retirees (5336 professors) were excluded from the bonus.
- Professors were supposed to receive two payments via the Patria System: a $50 compensatory bonus and a $200 professional/academic recognition bonus.
