Divine Mercy
The highest expression of love is mercy: it is a love that is offered, even when the other person does not deserve it. This is God in essence. He gives us his love and invites us to receive it, respecting our freedom. He knows we need it to achieve freedom, happiness, and fullness. His love heals the wounds of the soul, frees us from the bondages to which sin and the attractions of the fleeting world subject us, and fills the heart with joy.
