Mobility in the Aburrá Valley: 6% fewer people move due to teleworking, but journeys take longer
The proportion of people who travel daily in the Aburrá Valley decreased from 74% to 68% between 2017 and 2025. This reduction, along with the public transport crisis (lost 14% of its share) and the rise of motorcycles (ownership grew 48%) were the main conclusions of the 2025 Origin-Destination Survey (EOD) conducted by the Metropolitan Area.
