This chip is required by technical regulations and ensures vehicle identification, authorization, and safe operation.
The absence of the chip prevents traceability and increases the risk of system failures, leaks, and incidents.
The SIC had previously ordered the immediate suspension of GNCV commercialization and supply, but both entities continued.
GASORIENTE S.A. failed to take necessary actions to enforce the suspension of supply.
