Asobanca: Banks will keep digital channel services active during Easter Week

The Venezuelan Banking Association (Asobanca) reported that during the Easter Week holiday, which begins on Thursday, April 2, services offered through digital channels of banking institutions (online banking and electronic services) will be available to guarantee users the continuity of operations. Likewise, Asobanca highlighted that during Monday, March 30 and Tuesday, March 31, as well as Wednesday, April 1, national financial entities will maintain their operations in agencies at usual hours, as well as the functioning of ATMs. Similarly, the Superintendency of Institutions of the Banking Sector (Sudeban) informed through its official social networks that national banking sector institutions will maintain normality in their operations between March 30 and April 1. In this sense, Sudeban highlighted that full availability of services is guaranteed through: • Counter service: All agencies and branches will be open during their regular hours. • Digital Banking: Web platforms and mobile applications operational 24 hours. • ATM Network: Availability of cash and self-service operations. • Payment Systems: Electronic transfers, mobile payment, and points of sale active without interruptions.
