Imperial Servants

Various columnists have recently turned to the pages of The Leopard, a famous novel from the last century, which describes the maneuvers of a certain Italian nobility to maintain their position at the top in the face of the rise of the popular movement led by Garibaldi. The reference has been emphasized to draw attention to how, despite an armed intervention by the United States to end a criminal and demented tyranny that threatened its security from Venezuela, the stellar protagonists of the establishment supposedly overthrown after a lightning attack remain at the top as if nothing had happened, happy as can be. A first glance from any vantage point has the obligation to highlight such scandalous behavior, unfortunately and fortunately.
