WHO considers improvement in Gaza "marginal" after October ceasefire
The World Health Organization (WHO) considers the humanitarian situation for the population in the Gaza Strip to remain catastrophic and that any improvement has been "marginal" since the ceasefire agreed between Israel and Hamas on October 10. "I'll give you some figures, we need 600 trucks (with humanitarian aid) to enter Gaza every day, but currently it's 100, between 100 and 150, and some are commercial, which doesn't really contribute to humanitarian services, so progress is marginal," said WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus at a press conference.
