Colombia will hold nationwide tributes to the 69 killed in the air crash
The Colombian government announced this Wednesday that it will pay tribute to the victims of the Hercules C-130 plane crash that occurred on Monday in the Amazonian department of Putumayo, which left 69 dead, with ceremonies in different regions of the country. EFE The Minister of Defense, Pedro Sánchez Suárez, explained during a press conference outside the Institute of Legal Medicine, after accompanying some of the victims' families, that the funeral honors will be held in the places of origin of the deceased uniformed personnel, although he did not rule out a central event in Bogotá.
