TL;DR

  • The expression "If God wills it" originated from early human beliefs in a divine being controlling nature and destiny.
  • God is viewed as the creative and ruling force of the Universe, establishing laws that govern all existence.
  • Four immutable physical laws (gravity, electromagnetism, weak and strong nuclear forces) govern matter.
  • Ancient mystery schools identified seven metaphysical laws governing spiritual life: mentalism, correspondence, vibration, polarity, rhythm, cause and effect, and generation.
  • Life events are the natural and mechanical reaction of physical and metaphysical laws to how individuals use their free will.
  • Beneficial and positive actions lead to corresponding positive outcomes, while negative actions result in negative consequences.
  • An individual's balance in life is maintained according to their level of evolution and consciousness.
  • Accumulation of events with different energy vibrations can disrupt this balance, leading to events that seek its restoration.
  • These restorative events can be catastrophic or pleasant, depending on the polarity needed to re-establish equilibrium.
  • Faith in a benevolent God is common across religions, with believers expecting divine intervention for success or help with difficulties.
  • The belief in miracles arises from this faith, with the phrase "If God wills it" signifying that divine laws determine if a miracle is deserved.
