Superservicios warns of impact of intermediaries on final energy price and calls for review of tariff formation

Intermediation by pure commercializers adds an average of $59.58 per kWh to the final electricity tariff paid by users.
The participation of intermediation in the market has grown from approximately 9% in 2020 to an estimated 25% by 2026.
The analysis also noted high concentration of income and financial results within a small group of companies.
Superservicios has recommended that the Energy and Gas Regulatory Commission (Creg) review the impact of intermediation on tariffs.
